The USS Midway Museum is located at 910 North Harbor Drive on San Diego’s waterfront and is easily accessible by car, public transportation, rideshare services, taxi, bicycle, and on foot. We encourage visitors to plan ahead, especially when downtown traffic and parking demand may be higher.

On-Site Parking – USS Midway Museum

The most convenient parking option is the Navy Pier parking lot located immediately adjacent to the USS Midway Museum. The lot is owned by the Port of San Diego and managed by ACE Parking. Parking rates vary and may increase during holidays and special events. The lot is intended for passenger vehicles and does not accommodate RVs or oversized vehicles. Accessible parking spaces are available near the Museum entrance. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, as the lot may reach capacity during peak visitation periods.

Off-Site Parking – RaDD ACE Parking Facilities

Additional parking is available within a short walking distance of the Museum at the RaDD (Research and Development District) waterfront campus. The IQHQ RaDD Garage, located at 925 Waterfront Place, offers convenient parking approximately five minutes from the USS Midway Museum. Visitors can reserve parking in advance through ACE Parking and other parking reservation services when available. To learn more about this option and to reserve your space in advance, click here.*

Off-Site Parking – San Diego County Administration Center Parking

Justice 250 visitors may also find parking at public lots and garages surrounding the San Diego County Administration Center located along Harbor Drive. Parking availability and rates vary by location and event activity. These facilities are generally within a 5- to 10-minute walk of the USS Midway Museum and provide an excellent alternative when waterfront lots are full.

San Diego Trolley

The San Diego Trolley provides a convenient alternative to driving. Visitors can take the Blue or Green Line to Santa Fe Depot Transit Center. From Santa Fe Depot, the USS Midway Museum is approximately a 10-minute walk along the waterfront. Trolley service connects downtown San Diego with communities throughout the region, including Mission Valley, Old Town, La Mesa, El Cajon, and the U.S.–Mexico border.

Rideshare

Popular rideshare services provide direct transportation to the USS Midway Museum. Visitors should use the Museum address (910 North Harbor Drive, San Diego, CA 92101) when arranging pickup and drop-off. Designated drop-off areas are available along Harbor Drive adjacent to Navy Pier.

Taxi Service

Traditional taxi service is available throughout San Diego and can provide direct transportation to the Museum. Taxi stands are commonly located at San Diego International Airport, major downtown hotels, the Santa Fe Depot Transit Center, and other transportation hubs.

Walking and Waterfront Access

The USS Midway Museum is located along San Diego’s scenic Embarcadero waterfront promenade and is easily accessible on foot from many downtown hotels, the Manchester Grand Hyatt, Seaport Village, the Port Pavilion, Waterfront Park, and the Santa Fe Depot. Visitors walking to the Museum can enjoy waterfront views, public art installations, and numerous restaurants and attractions along the way.

Bicycle Access

Visitors arriving by bicycle can utilize San Diego’s waterfront bike routes and the Bayshore Bikeway. Bicycle racks are available near the Museum entrance for secure parking during your visit.

As Justice 250 takes place right before the start of the 4th of July holiday, we recommend allowing extra travel time for downtown traffic, special events, and waterfront activities. For the latest parking rates and transportation information, please check with the parking operator or transportation provider before your visit.
